When you subscribe, we collect your email address and subscription preferences. If you reply, we receive the message you choose to send. We ask for general topic suggestions, not account numbers, statements, or private financial details.
Subscription and usage information
Our newsletter platform records subscription and confirmation status, sign-up time and source, and information about delivery and engagement. This can include tracked link clicks and email-opening signals, which may be affected by email privacy features. The platform also processes technical information needed to operate and secure its services, such as device/browser information and IP addresses. It may use cookies and similar technologies to support the subscription site and measure usage.
How we use it
We use this information to send the confirmation email, welcome email, and newsletter, manage subscriptions and unsubscribes, respond to messages, understand which content brings readers to the newsletter, improve lessons, and prevent abuse. We do not ask you to connect financial accounts or submit a financial profile to subscribe.
Service providers
We use beehiiv to operate the newsletter and subscription site, and Google Workspace for correspondence. These providers process information needed to supply their services. Some processing may take place outside your state or country. beehiiv describes its own service-related processing in its privacy policy. This notice describes Everyday Upside's use of subscriber information and does not replace that policy.
Your choices
Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops future newsletter sends; a limited record may be retained to honor that request. You can contact [email protected] to ask about access, correction, or deletion of your subscriber information. We may need to verify the request before acting. Browsers and email services also provide controls that can limit some cookies, remote images, and tracking signals.
Retention and updates
We keep subscriber information while needed to provide the newsletter, honor preferences, maintain necessary records, and address security or legal obligations. If our practices materially change, we will update this notice and communicate changes as appropriate.
The newsletter is intended for adults. External links lead to services with their own privacy practices.
